St Kilda East - Two Bays - St Kilda East:
Santa was good to me yesterday, there was jerseys, socks and more Reeses than you could poke a 7 year old child at. Those gifts paled today though, as the most magical gift of all was given to Rick, Fewy and I.

Tailwind both ways!

We cruised south riding two up, chatting amicably while the northerly converted 200W into a delightful 36km/h pace. We hit Frankston and rolled out a modified Wednesday morning loop, noting that going the up Banool Cr was much more difficult than descending it. It was as we chatted at the Two Bays shops, saying goodbye to Berg who was heading on down the peninsula, that we realised the temperature was dropping, a sure sign that a southerly was now in effect. Sure enough, 200W delivered us 35km/h on the way home, though this time our conversation was slightly stilted, none of us wanting to jinx the most magical of wind conditions.
