NRR Long:
You know that bloke that sits on, pulls exactly zero turns, then smashes it on their favourite hill? Yeah, totes me this morning.

Rowan Dever was sitting pretty on the front all morning, I managed to get him breathing heavy on Canadian, but on Two Bays he stood on the final right hander, and rode me right off his wheel. Chatting later he said he tries not to go into the red. Fuck, that must be nice. Me? I go deep into the red and then try to go deeper. At the top of Two Bays I had a full two barrels of snot unashamedly streaming down my top lip. I'd gone through the point of blowing bubbles, and was breathing so hard that they had no chance to form. My main consolation for going that deep was riding others off my wheel.

I rolled a few turns on the way home, but the expected tailwind was somehow a 2nd headwind, leaving me well hollow for the rest of the day. A couple of coffees did nothing to lift my energy levels.  Realising I'd missed equalling my Two Bays PB by 1 second, despite having to slow down to confirm with some nice police officers that we could go around a downed tree, was a nice bit of info though.
