Hell Ride:
I had a several fun beverages last night, and got home well past my normal 9:30pm bed time, so it no surprise that I woke up to my 5:17am alarm feeling tired and unmotivated. I turned it off and spent a minute trying to think of an excuse to stay in bed that would stand up to scrutiny in hindsight. I got up and went riding.

There were solid crossies that had us guttered at 50km/h, then full gas (no not my guts) through the hills, then some more crossies, and finally a sprint that I felt surprisingly good for.

I can already hear your brain being sarcastically amazed at the in depth analysis and insightful observation. So I'm going to point out that while 2 hours of a fast bunch may burn out the booze, my brain is still only working off of 4 hours of shit sleep.
