St Kilda East - CCCC Crit - St Kilda East:
It was warm enough to ride in just bibs and jersey, meaning that I have no hat to take off... but if I did, it'd be to Tommy Nankervis for not only going up the road in a small break, but winning the sprint after we finally brought him back with 5 minutes to go.

With DK rolling in the bunch I took a few solid turns on the front during the first 55 minutes. They weren't lap long affairs like I had at SKCC the other week, and I'm still not sure if it is the bike position or my condition. After each pull I'd sink back into the bunch, say g'day to a few people, comment on how nice the day is, then start moving back up.

On the last couple of laps moving up wasn't so easy, and the best I could manage was around 23rdish into the last corner with a set of legs that were squawking. Nothing a chocolate paddle pop couldn't fix though.
