Hell Ride:
In a week where I quantified and personalised just how much faster the pros are, you'd think I'd have also learned not to get too cocky about my own fitness. Wrong... no right... today is still this week, but it was a delayed learning, and that was my point.

I hit Olivers and skipped clear of everyone, feeling pretty good about that, I was already mentally preparing for the rise up to/past Canadian Bay. It was on that rise that Smax hit the front and turned the screws. A gap formed and I knew it'd hurt to cover it, then I realised I wasn't covering it very well (or at all), then it was obvious that I had nothing extra... then nothing at all. Kabooom!

Right, so don't get too cocky.
