St Kilda East - Burnley bouli - Ivanhoe bouli - Kew Bouli - St Kilda East:
There was a ripping northerly blowing when I rolled out of home, so I turned straight into it. I'd rather come home with it behind me, than have to fight tooth and nail just to get back. The time I had, and the conditions made me settle on the route Bones and I rode a couple of weeks ago, the three Yarra boulevards of Burnley, Ivanhoe, and Kew.

Without Chris to chat to I pushed on the pedals harder at the start, but due to the head wind never really felt like I was getting anywhere. At one moment I glanced down to see my 450W effort was only giving me a return of 27km/h.

Again I hit a few small pinches of tarmac to test out the legs and give a bit of a bite to the ride. Again I've got some nice power to weight PBs to give my feelings of self fitness a bit of a boost.
