This is the forecast for tomorrow.

"Partly cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of rain. Rain and possible thunderstorm clearing early morning then fine until showers redevelop towards then evening. Heavy falls exceeding 50 mm possible in the southeast suburbs before dawn. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h shifting southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the evening."

Around midday I was bullish, and send a few texts to see if anyone was in for a ride.

Around 8pm, my thoughts had swung the other way. I sent a few more texts pulling the pin and set an alarm for 7am rather than 5. I wasn't in the mood to get soaked and brake my way down descents.
