6am NRR:
Was it a full moon? I've never seen so many people eager to get to the front into a headwind. Added to that, most seemed to lack the etiquette to match the front rider's pace. It seemed to be either riders trying to push in at 10th wheel, or coming through hot, and burning the few people who knew how to roll a steady turn.

Annoyance aside, it wasn't too bad, it kept me a little more mentally engaged. Having to think about positioning and energy use kept me from getting too complacent in the bunch. As for efforts I did the standard hill and lead out, both aided by the southerly that helped propel us home.
