I got a few laps of the lake at lunch with the tiny Canadian, her holding a once sided conversation, while I tried to hold a triple figure cadence.

St Kilda East - Yarra st reps - St Kilda East:
HCC was cancelled tonight, a big crash in D grade laid someone out, and the wait for all the kings horses and all the kings men to put them back together again, was looking like it'd eat up our racing time. Frustrating for me, but the right decision. To the dude who lay on the tarmac for a while, I hope it's nothing too serious, and that you heal up soon.

Anyway, and after opening my fat mouth earlier to tell Brad Eastwick he'd have to do Yarra St because he had missed entries, I had no choice but to go do Yarra st reps for the 2nd week in a row. Dunny said he would only be up for 5, and after the unhappy times of last week, I chose not to argue. Less reps didn't mean it was easier though. At the end, I was once again pale, shaking, and nauseous.

With less reps to do, there was no space for complacency, especially not with Dunny and his mate Mat doing them with me. Ever present, and thus possible witnesses to the outward manifestation of my internal struggles.
