I had an odd day, and I was getting ready to go home, half wishing that I didn't live so close.

I realised that I don't have to go straight home, and that Albert Park Lake is right there, ready to offer 15 minutes of continuous pedalling, and thus mental space for thoughts to melt away into nothingness. So, that's what happened, I rolled over the road, and started out slowly. Then a roadie went past, and I chased them, and somewhere between trying to spin my 74" gear, and dodging swan poo, the issues I'd had dissolved, leaving a much clearer mental space in their wake.
