St Kilda East - Two Bays - St Kilda East:
It was meant to be a fairly easy roll, but when we decided to do Canadian Bay and Two Bay roads, the habits formed over many Wednesday mornings kicked in, and sweat was shed.

I was nervous as we came off the highway into Canadian Bay, my two riding companions combined weighed less than a double cheeseburger, and they'd also had the luxury of being able to train recently. They took it easy on me, until a bit of attacking down Banool and Eumeralla Crescents started the competition.

I tried to set my own pace, hoping the shenanigans Bing and Lucas were occupying themselves with would take the edge off their legs, and leave me with a sniff, but really I never had a chance. They danced past me like two lightweight climbers past an unfit sprinter on a hill. Still it wasn't all bad, I put out 440W for the 5 and a bit minutes it took to go from bottom to top.
