Track bike in the living room, kindle in hand, with some morning cartoons on the telly in front of me, time distorting in direct proportion to my cadence. That pretty much sums up my roller session this morning. I just wanted to get the legs moving through, and in 15 minutes I went from a sustained 65rpm to 110rpm, before a final little flourish to 135 that I abandoned because it starts to get noisy at higher revs, and my legs couldn't sustain that pace, only accelerate to it.
