I don't understand why, but it's easier to wake up in time to do Northy, than it is to get up in time to meet dudes afterwards for coffee.

Commute:
I had one... then another appointment with some nice sports people from OPSMC, for which my desire was a plan for the most effective way to get back to full training. I didn't get that from either person.

As the hours have passed since, I'm less disapointed, and more accepting that maybe my desired outcome was unreasonable.

Instead, what I have is acknowledgement that I have an inflamed tendon and no structural damage. I also have some advice on my body and it's deficiencies, and some complimentary exercises to help address those and help ensure I can continue training and racing in the long term. Some of them may give me a bigger butt.
