6am NRR:
I have a confession to make. I cheated on today's ride, and it was more than just the obvious big wheels. You see, and I'm not super proud of this, I had some caffeine prior to the 6am roll out. It doesn't excuse the blatant offence, but this morning is my last session for a couple of days, and I wanted it to be able to push hard.

Through very little of my own design, hard is what I got. Today was just plain old on from the start, and I loved it. I followed a standard routine, rolling a few turns on the way down, a couple on the way back, then a long one out of Black Rock. The difference was, they were all just a little bit faster than normal.

Sadly the sprint was baulked by lights, but I was curious how I'd go from 5-6 riders back, as I felt good and was setting myself to run at Tom Leaper's wheel when we had to abort.
