SKCC Marshalling:
What started as ninja precipitation (drizzling, but showing nothing on the radar) at the end of e grade, turned into actual rain during d grade, and settled in during womens a and b grades.

A few hardy souls turned up for a grade, but the consensus was even if racing was on, no one was particularly keen to do it.

Instead of donating $15 to someone, I spent it on a delicious Spanish omelette on Chapel St.

St Kilda East - Edithvale - St Kilda East:
After the delicious brunch, DK and I grabbed our fixies and rode south to find Skinny, who was making his way back to St Kilda on the last leg of the Melbourne Ironman.

I'm not a fan of triathlons, it doesnt appeal to me as a sport, what I will admit is that it is a hard event, especially the longest form, the Ironman. 3.9km swim, 180.25km ride, then 42.2km run.... yeah, that's a tough day in the office.

We eventually found Skinny at Edithvale, in a sea of compressed calves, crop tops, and knicks with pockets in them. We rode with him back to St Kilda, talking with him, near him, and at him, hoping that our inane chatter would help him through the mental and physical battles he faced.
