NRR Long:
The pace was steady on the way down, and easy on the way back barring the period where Jan and one of his triboys drove it two up. It was all kind of nice, chatting with Bensley, Alby and a few others about life in the mild morning air.

So that leaves the Two Bays loop, it also started off sedate, but by the time we hit the highway it was on. Rowan Dever was up the road chasing down Jan and his pupil, Alby was chasing Rowan, and I was sitting uncomfortably on Tom Leaper's wheel. By the turn in, it was groupo compacto, but as soon as we hit the kicker of Canadian, things exploded and I had to find my own rhythm.

Into Two Bays and I'd got myself back onto Tom Leaper's wheel, and vowed to stay there to the top, but eventually his big ring effort ground me down, and I once again had to do my own pace making.

For both of the solo paced climbs I'm happy that I was able to set an over threshold work rate, but I was disappointed that that resulted in a speed slower than guy's I was competitive with three weeks ago.
