SKCC Marshalling:
I was on the fence about racing this morning, and it was a different kind of fence that finally tipped my decision into a firm no. The car dealerships that occupy the back corner of SKCC's crit infield had a big sale on, and to accommodate their needs, we shared Johnson and Brady st with them. Metal barriers with long feet were erected to separate the two types of traffic, and I just didnt feel comfortable with the idea of racing along the back of the course to the final corner, forced onto a narrow line, with objects waiting to grab wheels, pedals and bars on the outside of the course.

So, instead I marshalled E and D grades, then watched A and C race. I believe no one ended up touching the barriers, which is good, but doesn't make me feel like I made the wrong choice.
