St Kilda East - Brighton - St Kilda East:
I did not feel the love this morning, but I followed the tried and true process to get myself out the door. Do each small task required, and don't think about the the next one until you've finish... and never think about what it's all leading to, until it's too late.

Anyway, I rolled out the door into the early morning gloom, made even gloomier by some patches of cold drizzle. The legs felt dead, so I worked on another tried and true system, cadence. I clicked up my cassette and tried to get them spinning through freely, instead I just rode slower. Cadence higher than 80rpm eluded me, and a quick check revealed that power was eluding me to. I was barely getting over 200W.

I was intending to do the Hell Ride, but at mirror mountain in Brighton, I pulled a big U-turn and called it a day. Thanfully the roads were quiet and I only ran into two people I knew, Lee and Alison.
