St Kilda East - Yarra St Repeats - St Kilda East:
I felt short hard efforts to keep the legs moving, but not enough to hinder my recovery would be ideal. A steep hill ensures the effort, because any slacking off just extends the effort duration. Thus... 5 efforts up Yarra st, 5 and a half if you count the first one that I had to abort when I realised my wheel was in crooked and causing my gears to skip under decent power.

DK rolled in on my 2nd full ascents, he's been doing his own thing, I wasn't feeling fantastic, but a little competition was only going to help ensure quality efforts, so I welcomed his giant quads.
