St Kilda East - Mordialloc - St Kilda East:
I got up early, acquired a coffee, then rolled down to St Kilda to feed Chris Cantor Racing and Skinny in the Melbourne Marathon.

Standing about in the cool morning air I got to see the pro men and women go through, gliding over the ground at 20km/h, while looking super relaxed.



Once the gels and water had been handed out, I went south in search of a Total Rush bunch, who I knew would be somewhere along the beach. To my good fortune I found them parked at Mordi, which made for an easy turn around and meet up.

The pace home was laconic, which was just fine by me, I used it as a chance to roll turns with varied modes. Big gears, big cadences, exaggerated heeling... all to feel how my legs were and also keep my mates entertained.
