Rollers:
Long before I saw the forecast of wind or woke to it howling around my house at midnight, I had decided to sit on the rollers this morning. I wanted to get a bit more than the normal spin until the legs free up. I decided on an hour, something I've not done on the rollers before (trainer is another story).

It started off not too badly, sure the wind had knocked out the telly aerial, but the internet connection and thus iView still worked. An eternity passed and I finally gave in and checked the clock. I'd only been going for 25 minutes. I got back to the task of smooth pedal strokes and tried to ignore the fidgeting in my brain.

Commute:
With Vic CX champs this weekend, the Warny next weekend and the state of my legs, I'm going to go for a modified two week taper rather than my customary one. Stay tuned for updates on how stir crazy I'm going.
