Hell Ride:
I rode this a lot like last week, working most turns available to me on the way down and back, not killing myself on Olivers to ensure I had legs left for the next couple of hills where I ensured they ended up empty.

In the sprint, I had the joy of coming over the top of Jez Hunt, I don't think he was going full noise, but it's still kinda cool to ride past a guy who's bike has his name painted on the downtube by the manufacturer.

I'm feeling good, if I was a pro giving an interview to cycling news I'd talk about "sensations", possibly "better" or "good" ones. Mostly I think I'm starting to get ahead of the fitness curve, where I can hurt more and more often which builds up to allow even more hurt even more often.

I think the weights sessions set me back a little bit, but I'm now getting some benefits from the strength rather than just the tiredness of each session. I also thing the sessions have had an effect on my weight, but given how I'm feeling I'm not fussed. When I drop the sessions I'll be able to get a bit stricter on my diet and bring it back into the low 90s.
