6am NRR:
I had pretty much zero desire to pull turns today. I wasn't sure if the ride was fast, if I was slow, or if it was some combination of both. Instead I sat most of the ride in gold class, eating popcorn and sipping beer.

It was one of those days where you look at others riding deep wheels and instead of seeing a challenge, instead of seeing your own better training, you envy the few watts they're saving and the extra speed they can hold. During the Golden Mile, when Wilko on his Enve 6.7's was tearing the bunch apart, the only thing that kept my legs turning fast enough to stay on his his wheel, was the desire to have an end to the ride and a start to the coffee consumption,  dropping the wheel would have delayed my gratification.
