6am NRR:
Rolling out from home at 5:47am I hoped that my doctors appointment later would leave me with bugger all or no dressings, and that I could start training seriously and showering properly this week. More on that in a bit.
As for the ride I was heading to do, I am in a bit of a re-discovery phase. You know, working out what my legs can and can't do, where my threshold is and what it feels like. For the record, my threshold feels hurty, so I only gave it a few nudges. Some turns on the way down, and on the way back by covering a gap, smacking Rickets and setting up the sprint.

Commute:
The nice nurses at my local GP took all my dressings off, exclaimed at how nice my arse looked and sent me home with only a few swabs of magic stuff that gets rid of the adhesive remains.
On the down side, I am left with a few hairy squares on my legs where the dressings used to be. Even in a world of cycling where leg shaving and hairy shorts are normal... I don't think they qualify as cool.
