6am NRR:
There's a couple of aspects of my recent bike fit that are either taking some getting used to, or need some further thought.

I've always had some loveliness in my right foot under heavy loads with any tightness in my shoe straps. It's prone to hotfoot and or going completely asleep. While the changes to my left shoe have been great, the right needs some further thought before I'm confident I can cinch down on the fasteners and smash on the pedals all day long.

The other item is the height of my drops. It's lower than before and I don't see over other people's shoulders any more. In short (hahahahaha) I'm working off lesser amounts of information. Still today I felt confident in the bunch, and given I only did a couple of turns I spent a good amount of time there. I was reading wheels well, and matching pace (accelerations and braking) unconsciously. I don't doubt that the stresses of racing will effect this and leave me slightly less assertive, but it's always nice to re-attain levels of skill or fitness.
