6am NRR:
Today's easy option, taken in recognition of my delicate health, was to sit in, then to sit in some more, then to sit in some more, before finally downing two coffees on Chapel st. Oh, and to sprint because that's fun and because it's fun to drill it and make the pain face.

So on to that sprint. Hats must be tipped to the Total Rush guys who put a train on the front from 3km out. I choose to see this as awesome, if you're in the camp who sees that as a lame thing on a training ride, then well... actually I've got nothing here. I thought about going with "we disagree", but I think you'll agree that sounds a bit lame after the build up. Sadly they were not 2011 HTC, and got repeatedly attacked/chopped meaning the pace was wildly varied and my position ranged anywhere from shit to awesome. Eventually (early) I just fucking went, taking whoever was smart enough to sit on the guy who always goes early, and dragged out the pace like it should be.

I experienced a scootch of hotfoot in the right foot. The side that has an arch that allegedly needs more support. I think more support means it has an arch that drops more, but forget in the uncertainty of if I should endure this as a hurdle that will be overcome by my body's adaptation, or a sign that the inset is NQR.
