Prahran - Port Melbourne - Prahran:
In a fit of what I'm going to label "toughness" I rolled myself (and my bike) down to the SKCC crit and entered myself into C-grade marshalling duties.

Yes you're right, it was more like a fit of softness.

The morning's ride was punctuated by a couple of flat tyres (thanks to the Giant guys who provided neutral spares) and efforts to get over the gaps spent riders left.

I was pleased at how well the ankle that had taken codeine to calm on Friday night was able to survive under hard accelerations up the side of the bunch and that legs, covered in bruises were still producing enough power for those hard accelerations.
