6am NRR:
3 days to go, and after yesterday's nerves I wanted needed to get a roll in to feel human. The easy Wednesday pace was nice for the way down, and I pulled through and felt strong for the section from Mordi back up to Mentone.

From there on I just sat in, span a smallish gear when I remembered and waited for the sprint.

Round Elwood I feared I was a little far back, as we hit Glen Huntly Rd and guys attacked off the front it was confirmed, I was too far back. Still when a space big enough for me to go through opened up, I went after lead riders, hauling in all bar the first two riders with 2nd place only eluding me by half a wheel.
