For the second day in a row, I headed out for a ride with the full expectation that I would get soaked, and for the second day in a row I was wrong.
Steve and I headed to the You Yangs for my first MTB ride in, um, hang on I need to check my blog... 4 and a bit months.
In that time I have lost the ability to mono, significant height and grace on my bunnyhop and most importantly for the day, the front brake on my bike (seems the pads were tainted). Still it's a bit of a drive to get to the youies, so we went riding anyway.

We didn't go all out on anything, though some of the early climbing in the stockyards got us pretty close to our limits.
I was a little disappointed with myself, on the way back up from Kurrajong up the junction track, I dabbed 5 times. Next time I'll have to work on committing to lines and efforts.

It was a stellar day for it, the trails were totally carving.
Actually the only thing I can thing us MTB types usually say is "make mine a pint".
