Commute:
It seems I totally forgot the best bit of news from yesterday's ABOC Sprint session.

I'm retiring from track sprinting.

Yep! I took a much sought after win over Chris Ray in the final sprint and as such I feel that now should hang up the.... wait... what do you hang up when you quit track sprinting? Shit, I knew I should have thought this through more. Well, whatever it is I'm hanging up, you can be sure I wont be taking it back down again*.

2 x 5 @ 20kg High bar squat
1 x 5 @ 40kg High bar squat
1 x 5 @ 65kg High bar squat
1 x 2 @ 95kg High bar squat
5 x 5 @ 120kg Low bar squat

2 x 5 @ 45kg Bench press
2 x 5 @ 72.5kg Bench press
1 x 2 @ 72.5kg Bench press

1 x 4 @ 40kg Power clean
3 x 4 @ 67.5kg Power clean

Squats were good, I jammed my hands in tight, and all bar a few brain fades I maintained back extension and got my depth. Well, by good I mean, holy fuck that bar is feeling heavy. 3 Tonnes lifted left me none too excited about power cleans.

I felt so confident on the bench press after my 2nd set. I got it, nailed out the first 3 reps then pushed the last 2 without pause. To get onto the bench and almost fail the first 2 reps of my last set was a bummer. I might have to admit defeat on this weight and give myself a 5kg break and go at it again.

I was proud to get the power cleans done, as I said before I did not want to do them, but after my realisation that I've been a little bitch of late I uttered some choice insults at my own expense and then got down to business.

PMPW: 95kg
