NRR: (long)
Rolling out of home at 5:40am in bibs and a jersey, life seemed good.

When we were cruising down the highway at 40kmh, life seemed good.

When going up the first two rises out of Frankston and my HR was well under control, life seemed good.

When Danny Kah hit the front leading back onto the Hwy and into Canadian Bay Rd, life seemed less good.

As I watched the lead group ride off up the first pinch, futher along the flat and into the distance over the last pinch of Canadian Bay Rd, life seemed less good.

Smacking turns into a stinking hot northerly wind to get home, quads screaming in pain, life seemed less good.

Sitting at my desk at 9am with 100 hard kms in the legs, life is good.

Time at work: 8:51am

Rain and thunder/lightning are awesome on a bike as long as you're still warm. Sure tonight temperature wasn't tropical, but 15c and some smattering of wool clothing kept me giggling at the glum faces of people stuck in cars.
