First day in Boston, and my theory is the best way to see a city is to walk through it, so I did. A fair chunk of the day I was thinking about how long it's been since I exercised, I chastised myself and swore that "tomorrow I'll do something decent".

Sitting here now, having worked out how far I went, I realise why my right quad flared up slightly in the last 10k. It's a bugger, as I'd almost forgotten it had any issue, which in my books means it was well on the way to getting ship shape.

I did find one old road (alley) that put the NYC cobbles to shame. I think it's not very roadie friendly, but who's asking them?
