Spent the morning losing myself in the act of trail building. There's something Zen like about repetitive manual labour.

Trying to envision (before it's even built) how the trail will ride and how different things would effect how it rides is an interesting challenge, but one I could get used to.

1,000m long trail? With two big berms?

I think we managed a couple of km, it'll need more work and a ton of sun to harden it up. The solitary berm is going to take a bit of elbow grease as it's way too small at the moment. :D

Just make a 250m course with two big berms, reinforce them with timber, make the gradient around 42 degrees, and do 4 laps.

So what about the rock garden, where does that go?
