Yarra Trails:
Got up early to play around on the Yarra Trails with Steve and some cameras. It would be a lie to say we covered any serious amounts of ground, it was more about finding some pretty locations than riding hard.


The different mindset we adopt when we're looking not just for the fastest line is refreshing. It reminded us that not only do we have great riding trails, but they're also quite beautiful.


2 x 20 Deck squats
1 x 6min @ 24kg Clean and jerk long cycle (swap sides every 5 reps)
3 x 10ES @ 80kg Step ups*
3 x 30 @ 52kg Jumping squats
1 x 5ES @ 35kg @ 16kg Aquabag OH forward/Back lunges
1 x 5ES @ 35kg @ 35kg Sloshball forward/Back lunges
1 x 5ES @ 35kg @ 25kg Sloshball forward/Back lunges
3 x 50 rope shenanigans

It might be some residual endorphins but I feel pretty good about this week. Weights went up which lead to some tough work, but I got it done and thus feel good about it.

* we used the slightly lower box this week (15" vs 20"?)
