I smashed through the box jumps until I smashed my toes into the box in the last set, despite the blood my primary concern was it let Jeff get a couple of reps ahead. It was the first time I'd stayed on par with his pace for box jumps, normally he's 10% faster. I did have to modify the technique to achieve the pace though, landing down into a squat and jumping back up in one motion. It really jacked the HR, but it was fun to be at the same tempo.
I had a quick chat to Jeff about racing 24hrs solo, his advice was to do a max of 2 a year and to split them by as many months as possible. This might mean I need to look at racing the Solo Nationals around Easter, then another late in the year.
