I'm not sure what to say, it's been a few hours and I'm still feeling pretty disappointed at myself.

The ride started normally, but it soon became obvious that the small hole I'd noticed when pumping up my tyre wasn't sealing. The front end became mushy and started to roll about in corners, almost taking me out a couple of times. Ok, so where's the problem you say?

Well I cracked the sads and went home. I can state reasons why, but in the hash light of hindsight they seem weak.

I'm going to have to sit down with my calendar, review what I've got coming up and really think about what the races mean to me. Having a well set goal to judge all actions against is a powerful tool, and I think I've been missing it since the Warny.

is that the old central australian challenge? I've heard that was a lot of fun. Tubeless with sealant was suggested due to the thorns.

ps. Rock it!
