Melbourne - Mordialloc - Melbourne:
The forecast looked shitty, but there was a chance that a ride to Mordi would escape without getting wet.... a slim chance.

I met a couple of the Spoke(n)/Nacional boys at the bakery for a coffee. Numbers were down due to the weather and a ride organised by Crowie.

When it became time to roll out it was only James and I willing to brave the swirling wind. We kept the pace easy and chatted until Mentone, when the rain joined us.

Things looked pretty grim at Mordi, but we set back giggling at just how much the gusts were throwing us about.

Though it wasn't a "nice ride", it was good to have got a couple of Km in the legs, and some tough conditions in the brain. Hopefully this will pay dividends come races when the weather is foul.

BOM tells me that we had winds of ~55km/h and gusts of up to 78kmph while one the road. Yet there were still people out on deep section wheels.... ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE?!
